Farming and Food Justice Work
Karen Farmers have been cultivating traditional vegetables in Philadelphia for over 10 years.
Seeds are life. We farm to sustain ourselves and our community, to preserve our culture, and grow strong roots in Philadelphia.
During the 2025 - 2026 Farming Season, KCAP continues to partner with Reinhard Community Farm and Kitchen. Food our farmers grow is distributed to community members throughout South Philly, and to the Reinhard neighborhood.
In 2025, we grew and distributed over 5000 pounds of fresh produce.
The farm is a space of healing, and a space where Karen people can continue their traditions.
